Oslo is a city in Marshall County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 347 at the 2000 census.

Minnesota Highway 1 and Minnesota Highway 220 are two of the main arterial routes in the community. Interstate 29 is nearby.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km²), of which, 0.4 square miles (0.9 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (5.26%) is water.

Oslo is on Highway 1 adjacent to the state line of North Dakota (Walsh County), marked by the Red River of the North.

The community is about a half mile east of Interstate 29, located in North Dakota.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 347 people, 148 households, and 83 families residing in the city. The population density was 973.0 people per square mile (372.2/km²). There were 162 housing units at an average density of 454.3/sq mi (173.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.47% White, 10.09% from other races, and 1.44% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 19.31% of the population.

There were 148 households out of which 27.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.3% were married couples living together, 4.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 43.9% were non-families. 41.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 25.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.34 and the average family size was 3.18.

In the city the population was spread out with 26.2% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 27.1% from 25 to 44, 17.9% from 45 to 64, and 20.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.9 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $34,375, and the median income for a family was $47,857. Males had a median income of $33,750 versus $18,571 for females. The per capita income for the city was $15,290. About 6.0% of families and 14.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 24.0% of those under age 18 and 8.1% of those age 65 or over.
