Oskars Kļava (born August 8, 1983) is a football defender from Latvia. He currently plays for FK Liepājas Metalurgs.

[edit] Club career
Klava made his debut for Metalurgs in 2002. On 15 August, 2002 he was sent off against Austrian club FC Kärnten in a UEFA Cup 2002-03 qualifying round match which Kärnten won 2-0.[1] On 28 July 2005 he scored Metalurg's third goal in a 3-0 win over Faroe Islands club, NSÍ Runavík in the UEFA Cup 2005-06 first qualifying round.[2]
In January 2008 Klava went on trial at Football League One side Leeds United in England.[3]

Klava has played for the Latvia national under-21 football team and 17 games for the Latvian national team.
On 3 September 2004 he scored for the Lativan Under-21 team in a 2-1 defeat to Portugal in a 2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification match.[4] On 7 September he scored a late goal to give the Latvian Under-21 team a 2-1 victory over Luxembourg in the same competition.[5] In November 2004 when he was part of Jurijs Andrejevss first squad as Latvian coach, for a tournament in Bahrain.[6]
In June 2005 he was a late addition to the Latvian squad for their 2006 World Cup qualifying match against Liechtenstein.[7] On 13 October 2007 he scored the second goal when Latvia beat Iceland 4-2 in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying Group F match.[8]
