Oshin of Lampron was an Armenian nakharar, formerly lord of a fortress near Gandzak, who migrated in 1075 to Cilicia. His kinsman, Abulgharib Artsruni, governed Taurus and Mopsuestia in the name of the Emperor Alexius I Comnenus. Oshin was given a hereditary fief (domain), the district of Lampron at Tarsus near the Cilician Gates. His descendants founded the House of Lampron and ruled the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia in the 12th century.
