Osgoode Township High School is an Ottawa-Carleton District School Board high school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the town of Metcalfe, which is located in the largely rural southern part of Ottawa. The school was opened in 1954. Originally part of the Carleton Board of Education, it joined the new OCDSB in 1998. Students come from the communities of Greely, Osgoode, Metcalfe, Vernon, Edwards, Kenmore, portions of Manotick and the area connecting these communities. The school has a notable music program, whose concert band won first place at the Statten Island music festival in New York in 2006-2007. The school's primary sports teams are known as the "Panthers". MENTIONABLE GRADUATES: Corrie McNulty, Hostess, The Keg, Megan McDonald, Though she did not graduate from OTHS, she loved the people who attended the school. She is currently dating a spartender.

[edit] Fundraisers

There are many fundraisers through the year to support many important organizations. Some examples are: The anunal Mini fair (just before the Metcalfe Fair, just across the road) raises money for the United Way. The annual Band-a-Thon raises money for different organisations every year. In 2005 they raised money for the Red Cross organisation, and in 2006 raised money for the Cancer Foundation. Panther Prowl raises money for CHEO, this past year (2007) they raised $3,000.
