I have not been able to confirm that Echeverry played for BSC Young Boys, but did find sources that reported he was on the books of FC Thun for the NLB 2001/02 season (e.g., [1]). Eurosoccer.ch has a full set of matchreports for the NLB 2001/02 season, and it doesn't appear that Echeverry ever played for Thun's first team. Can anyone confirm?
