Oscar López Hernández (born May 11, 1980, Cerdanyola, Barcelona), commonly referred to as Oscar López is a Spanish footballer who currently plays as a defender for Gimnàstic de Tarragona. He has previously played for FC Barcelona, Lazio and Real Betis.
López is a product of the FC Barcelona cantera. After playing for FC Barcelona C and FC Barcelona B, he was given his senior debut by Radomir Antić in a 3-1 win over Recreativo de Huelva in 2003. He returned to Spain in 2005 and went on loan to Real Betis, making his debut against FC Barcelona in a 2-1 win in the first-leg of the Supercopa de España. During the 2005/06 season he played for Betis in both UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup . During July of 2007, Oscar López extended his loan move from Real Betis to Gimnàstic by another year.
