Oscar Films Private Ltd. is a leading production house led by the well known film distributor V.Ravichandran. His production house is now produced over 15 films in Tamil and Telughu. His latest Tamil movie production movie name called Anniyan was a great blockbuster starring Vikram. His future production is Dasavatharam in that film V.Ravichandran is goind to produce over 50 Crores and that film is set to be released on Tamil New Year.
In 2006, he distributed several films that were facing financial problems and all of them did well. He distributed almost all the biggest hits of the year: Chithiram Pesuthadi, Dishyum, Thambi, Parijatham, Thalai Nagaram, Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu, Varalaru, Rendu and Thiruvilayadal Arambam. Films lined up for 2007 for him, include, Pachaikili Muthucharam , Unnale Unnale, Maruthamalai, Dasavatharam and Vaaranam Aayiram.
