Oscaecilia bassleri is a species of amphibian in the Caeciliidae family. It is found in Ecuador, Peru, possibly Bolivia, and possibly Colombia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, plantations , rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.
