Osborne is a north-western suburb of AdelaideSouth Australia, Australia 19km from the CBD, in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It is adjacent to Outer Harbor, Taperoo and North Haven. Its postcode is 5017. It is bounded to the south by Moldavia Walk and Solvay Road, to the north by Marmora Terrace and to the west by Gulf St Vincent and to the east by the Port River. It is located at geographic coordinates on the LeFevre Peninsula.

Osborne is the home of the Australian Submarine Corporation (builders of the Royal Australian Navy's Collins class submarines) on the Port River and a gas-fired power station. In mid-2005 it was selected as the site of construction for the RAN's AU$6 billion dollar air warfare destroyer project. It is also the site of a Penrice Soda plant for manufacturing sodium carbonate and port facilities operated by Flinders Ports [1].

Osborne is the home of LeFevre Reserve, which also hosts a community centre. There is no primary school in the suburb and the closest schools are the North Haven and Taperoo Primary Schools in adjacent North Haven and Taperoo respectively. The local high school is Ocean View College Gedville Campus, also in Taperoo.

The Adelaide Metro 157 and 333 bus routes serve Military Road, while route 150 serves Victoria Road. The Outer Harbor railway line serves Midlunga railway station, while the Osborne railway station is in the adjoining suburb of North Haven.
