[edit] Rolling stock

The Osaka Municipal Subway uses rolling stock built between 1967 and 2005. All lines are worked by a single type of stock except the Midōsuji, the Tanimachi, and the Chūō Lines. The latest rollout of stock is 80 Series for the Imazatosuji Line on November 2005. The subway rolling stock is mainly divided in two categories, one consisting of conventional electric motored trains and the other of linear motored trains.
