Oryu-dong Station is a metro station on Line 1 of the Seoul Subway. It was named "Oryu-dong Station" because at the time the station was opened, there was already a station on the Korail-operated Jeolla Line named "Oryu Station." (The Jeolla Line station has since fallen into disuse.)
It was opened since Seoul-Incheon line was firstly introduced in Japanese occupation era.
