Orvault is a commune in the département of Loire-Atlantique and the Pays de la Loire region of France. It is the fourth-largest suburb of the city of Nantes, and is adjacent to it on the northwest. In the 1999 census, Orvault had a population of 23,554. The commune has a land area of 27.67 km² (10.683 sq mi).
