[edit] Sources
Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Christianity by country are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at inline citations that best suits each article. Thanks! Patstuarttalk|edits 01:11, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Holy Synod - Coptic Orthodox Church
Dear Orthopraxia; Thank you for your continuous help with articles about the Coptic Orthodox Church. Your recent changes to The Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria have unermined much hard work I have been putting into this page for the past week or so. Here is a list of my objections:
- Pentapolis are the five western cities in Libya. Cyrene, Libya is one of them. Cyrenaica is NOT, because it's a region NOT a city.
- Xois and Sakha are virtually two names for the same city. Why do we need to put both in parentheses?
- You removed parentheses from Al-Balyana, Abu Qirqas, El Qusiya, and Qus.
- Akoris is Ṭihnā al-Ǧabal, NOT Abu Qirqas.
- Hebenu is Kom el-Ahmar, NOT Zawyet el-Maiyitin.
- I found no reference at all in all my history and geography books to a city called Theodosiopolis where the modern Beni Hasan stands.
- I found no reference to the bishopric of Minya including Beni Hasan or Zawyet el-Maiyitin. The official title of the bishop of this region is Bishop of Al Minya and Abu Qirqas. Please see this external link to memebers of the Holy Synod for a reference.
Please let's work together instead of undermining each other's efforts. Thanks.--Lanternix 15:35, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Dear Orthopraxia, thanks for making the necessary changes to the article. I would definitely love to chat with you, looks like we share a lot in common after all (moi aussi je suis Lassalien). How would you like to do that? --Lanternix 00:21, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Did you ever consider joining "Wikipedia:WikiProject Oriental Orthodoxy" or Category:Coptic Wikipedians [1]? I was just wondering. I myself am an Orthodox Copt. I do find these topics in particular to be interesting! ~ Troy 01:24, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Church of the Holy Virgin in Babylon Al-Darag
I require help for developing the article for this Church (located in Coptic Cairo). You can do so by editing my sandbox at User:Troy 07/Sandbox (the page which currently holds my little project). I have contacted all of the other Coptic Wikipedians I know of for help. Please remember that copyright infringement will have to be reduced, as I have got the information from an article. I have typed a hidden message mentioning that and other things worth mentioning.
This is a list of all the Coptic Wikipedians that I know of (including myself):
