Look, I don't blank pages, I changed what they are right to the good prononciation. The are 2 articles for 1 subject, so I earse one, Il past this page ont the other page and i will create redirect on the page that I erase. Look by your self, All what I erase on a pge, I past it to the other.

Don't worry about your English; it's not my first language either (and I'm also a Canadian!). Just be sure you don't leave a blank page, even for a short time. Once you finish a merge, only then turn it into a redirect. I found another one you left here. Please change to a redirect when the target article is ready. Thanks! This was all discussed a few months ago. All the pages of the former municipalities were at "xxx, Quebec" and were moved to "xxx (Montreal)" or just xxx. Now, we had an argument over this, so we had a compromise. Information on the communities themselves would go at xxx, Quebec while the borough articles would go at xxx (borough). The discussion over Montreal North was not one I participated in, but I believe they wanted to use the English name, because it is customary on the English wikipedia to use the English name of a community. It is the same reason why on the French encyclopedia Londres is not at London. -- Earl Andrew - talk 19:53, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Ok, but for this I will create a article in french Montréa-Nord, Québec and Montréal-Nord (borough) beacuase is the official name of the place ANd all the other borough are in french name (official lsnguage of Quebec nation). For resaon, In Montreal template it is the prononciation in french that are include.

Why do you continually change the page name for Montreal West, Quebec to Montréal-Ouest, Quebec? There is a discussion on this subjection on the talk page, that you have not contributed to, including a request that any name changes be done formally. Can you please follow the procedure?   • You wrote on my page "I'm sorry but Montréal-Ouest is the real name of this city. It is a big mistake and like you can see, 99% of all the others cities ans borougs are writhen in the name in french (that is the official name). To correct a big mistake lake thaht, I have not to discuss with anybody." First off, Montreal West has never been a city. It was a town before the merger. Personally I haven't figured out what it is after the demerger, a town within a city perhaps. Secondly during it's original existence, it's name was officially, and only, in English, during most of the years of it's existence. Thirdly, you can't just go an change the name, when there is a discussion from the fall-out of your previosu renaming going on. Please take part in the discussion before getting into a revert war. Also, if the City of Montréal's English-language website refers to the place as Montreal West, and not Montréal-Ouest - who are we to do otherwise? We went through a formal name change procedure on the Montreal West page, however you changed the name back again, without voting in the discussion, or going through the proper procedure. Your renaming of the Dieu et mon droit to God and my right doesn't make sense to me, and renaming Martin Luther King III to Martin Luther King, son is uncomprehendable. Please stop. Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Orthodoxe, please stop renaming Montreal articles to their French names. This is not the French Wikipedia, as you know, it is the English one. Wikipedia's policy is to use the most common English pronunciation. What you are doing is wrong for several reasons. Firstly, it goes against the policy described above, since the English name, while not official, is the place's name in English. For example, the French article about Venice is called Venise and not Venezia. Venise is not the city's official name, but it is the city's French name. In the same way, English place names may not be "official" in Quebec, but they are the English names nonetheless. Saint Leonard, like Venice, is the English name, just like Pékin or Londres are the correct French names, yet unofficial.

Furthermore, your changes are highly political. While they may have been made simply in good faith, they could be considered offensive to English speakers. In fact, as an Anglo-Quebecer myself, I was offended when I saw that you had changed Saint Leonard (borough) to Saint-Léonard (borough). However I later realized it may not be political vandalism but just a misunderstanding. Please note that the English names used are those used by English speaking Quebecers, not foreign Anglophones. In other words, they are the names used by Quebecers themselves, not imposed on Quebec by foreigners.

Besides that, this topic was already discussed at length several months ago and it was decided by the Montreal Wikipedia community as a whole to use the English names, including for streets. It is unjust for you to change article names without first consulting the community and having them vote on it.

If you are just trying to be helpful, then thank you for trying to help make Wikipedia better and I hope you will continue to improve it while taking into account what i have written. If, however, you are trying to impose some kind of Francophone Nationalist agenda onto English Quebecers, then it is greatly unappreciated. Wikipedia is not the place for politics, and if this is your aim know that I am the first one who will stand up to such linguistic oppression. Either way, please assume that the native Anglo-Quebecers who named the articles in the first place know the English names better than you, but if you think there is a mistake feel free to bring it to someone's attention. Don't take this personally, as it is what any second language Wikipedia editor should do. I will try to move back the articles affected, and hope you will do so as well. Also know that you should use the MOVE tag to move articles, not delete the content and replace it, as just copy-pasting does not copy the talk page or history.
