You're the first normal editor in quite a while on the Bobov pages; so I would like to congratulate you. Issac 16:45, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

I left a comment regarding your edit on its talk page. I hope by the time you see it; your edit is still standing. I still think Grand is more correct then Chief but I'll leave it for now, especially if we can pad it with some clarifying words. Issac 23:08, 2 February 2006 (UTC

Shuloim Aleichem;

I see that you are having some difficulties in verifying some Skvere Minhugim. As a Skvere Chusid I can help you clear up some things for you.

By the way, in one of the discussions you wrote the following... (There are actually such examples in Skver that were not mentioned such as the women cracking eggs on their heads for shampoo in preparation for the mikveh) are you so naive to believe this where is your common sense???--Chusid 16:14, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

The Minhag you are referring to is to read the Megila, the first half (till Vyhei Bachtzi Halaiyluh) two weeks before Purim and the week before Purim the second half. Re: the eggs, how do you knoe it for a fact? is your wife a Skvere? Do you live or lived in Skver? Who told such non-sense stories? And how did you verify if it was true??? If this is or was ever a Minhag it would not be changed, as you know in Skver all minhugim are Minhugai Kodesh and never changed or altered. By the way on of the Rebbes sons is a personal friend with me so it is no problem for me to verify any minhag etc. that needs verification.--Chusid 17:06, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Belsky-1-.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Belsky-1-.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Dethomas 01:52, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chaim Joshua Halberstam

Do you know anything else about him? Where is he Rov? (Which shul?) Is it true that some people call him AdMu"R? The page is vague, and it would be nice if it could be expanded upon, because he looks like an interesting figure.--Meshulam 19:16, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi Meshulam, He is Ruv in the big Satmar shul in Monsey. He is absolutely an Admo"r. His first Tish was a big attended by all the major Rabonim of Monsey. But I don't really have what to add to the article.--Ortho 04:14, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Which shul? (BTW, thanks!)--Meshulam 19:48, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

The main and original Satmar shul of monsey.
