why is the weight function assumed to be 1 in this article? shouldn't orthonormality as a property should be defined with respect to a weight function? Freshraisin

Many people who, with a good explanation, are capable of understanding this concept, do not learn well from verbal descriptions and mathematical symbols alone. This concept could be illuminated with a visual example, with an explanation showing how certain properties of the diagram relate to the mathematical terms and symbols used.
