The "Orthodox Church in Italy" is NOT a canonical organization in the sense that it is not part of the Eastern Orthodox communion. This is evidenced by its relationship with the (also non-canonical) Montegrin and Macedonian groups, as well as with the "Kiev Patriarchate." It is unrecognized by all the ancient Patriarchates, the Russian Church, etc. Accordingly, I've removed the reference to its status as canonical.
