Orthodera ministralis is a species of mantid known by the common name garden mantis. Garden mantises are apple green. Both sexes are long winged and can be confused, though males have more abdominal segments. The garden mantis is the (along with the False garden mantis) most widely distributed praying mantis over Australia.
