Orsara Bormida is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km southeast of Turin and about 25 km south of Alessandria, on the right bank of river Bormida. As of 31 December 2005, it had a population of 420 and an area of 5.14 km².[1]
The municipality of Orsara Bormida contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Quirico, Moglia, Piano and Uvallare.
Orsara Bormida borders the following municipalities: Montaldo Bormida, Morsasco, Rivalta Bormida, Strevi, and Trisobbio.
