After studying the articles on the various fossilised monotremes, I realised that the genus Obdurodon is an Ornithorhynchid (yes, the literature did say this specifically). Therefore, I felt it was more logical to include a separate article on the family Ornithorhyncidae rather than continue to have it be a mere redirect. I will, to ensure no problems, check the links to this page.--Ingoolemo 01:04, 2004 Jun 11 (UTC)
