Copyright violation
Hello Ormondad. Please be more careful in what you copy from the internet. You can copy content only from another site to Wikipedia if it explicitly says that the content is either public domain or GNU General Public License. We have to delete all other stuff that is copyrighted. If you find a site with public domain info, then you can copy some information. Please spend also some time to wikify the content, i.e. to add links to other sites and to format the text. Thank you -- Chris 73 | Talk 12:16, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
Hi Ormondad! Please note that you cannot just copy stuff from other web pages. In most cases, this is a copyright violation, and such articles will be removed from Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Copyright for more information.
Also please be careful not to copy entries from some website that (quite legally) mirrors Wikipedia content. The Sieur de Maisonneuve and related articles, for instance, already existed here under the title Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve.
Apart from that: have fun! Lupo 12:21, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
