[edit] December 2007

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Tax haven. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. — Coren (talk) 17:12, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your contributions are welcomed, however, one or more of the external links you added in this edit to Private banking do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thanks. Cometstyles 11:03, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Additions of http://.privatebanking.com

This is your last warning. The next time you insert advertising or a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. --Hu12 (talk) 13:47, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Dear moderator.

I do not insert advertising or spam, I merely point out where to find more resources about private banking , similarly to Euromoney that seems to get special treatment from Wikipedia or from you.

Could you please explain why the Euromoney links are fine and the link to this site that is more relevant and unbiased is not OK?

Are you associated to Euromoney? Or is it required to pay 'donate' for the link? Please let me know and I will pursue this further according to your advise.

Sincerely

It has become apparent that your account is only being used for spamming inappropriate external links or self-promotion, so it has been blocked indefinitely. Wikipedia is NOT a "repository of links" or a "vehicle for advertising" and persistent spammers will also have their websites blacklisted.
