[edit] Robert Majzels

I got the ISBN from the Library and Archives of Canada (formerly the National Library of Canada) at http://www.collectionscanada.ca/ (then click on Amicus, its library catalogue system). The catalogue entries for Robert Majzels included his year of birth. This is often a good way to check the year of birth for a Canadian author. For a U.S. author, visit http://catalog.loc.gov and for a British or Irish author, visit http://catalogue.bl.uk I have been updating biographies for some U.S. academics, and since many of them have written books, I have been able to obtain their year of birth from listings at the Library of Congress catalogue. When you get a birth year this way, make sure it's plausible and that you haven't gotten someone else with the same name.

If you are comfortable writing in French, you might want to contribute an article on Robert Majzels and other English-Canadian writers whose work has been translated into French to the French-language Wikipedia at http://fr.wikipedia.org/ Once you have registered there, go to http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Majzels and you will see a message saying "No such article yet. Click here to start one." TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 16:49, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
