In the Aeneid, around line 420 in book 12, the bleeding and pain from Aeneas' wound stop immediately upon application of water infused with dittany. This seems a rather more likely explanation than that involving Dictamnus albus, especially given the large number of classical references in the series.
I'm not sure this is worthy of inclusion, and it sounds suspiciously like original research, so I will wait a little while before I add anything to the article. Golwengaud 21:37, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
