This article has improved a lot in the last 24 hours or so. Good. However, I find parts hard to believe, particularly: Established in 1948 as Longman Green by the UK publishing company Longman. First, I believe that the UK publishing company was then (if we ignore "& Co." and suchlike) "Longmans, Green", and anyway wasn't "Longman". Secondly (if I'm right so far), it seems very unlikely that the Indian company would be named "Longman Green"; I'd guess it was instead something like "Longmans, Green (India)". I realize that the article more or less reproduces what the cited newspaper articles say, but I wonder if there isn't better information available. -- Hoary (talk) 08:24, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
