Orion is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada. It is located 78 kilometers (48 mi) south of Medicine Hat, along Highway 61. This town has a small grocery store, post office, and a gas station/hardware store.
This town is said to be named because of the great view of the constellation Orion from the night sky.
The settlement is administered by the Forty Mile County.[1]
