Carduelis sinica (Linnaeus, 1766) |
The Oriental Greenfinch or Grey-capped Greenfinch (Carduelis sinica) is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. If the genus Carduelis is split up, this species would go into Chloris with the other greenfinches and the Desert Finch.
It nests in trees or bushes, laying 3-5 eggs.
