Orie is a town of approximately 3,000 individuals, located in the Isoko South Local Government region of Delta State, Nigeria. It is called Orie-Irri because its inhabitants originated from Irri town. Orie is located between three towns, called Opke, Ofagbe and Utue.

Most inhabitants are Christians, with a minority still adhering to traditional Ijaw religious practices.

The village has a single primary school and no secondary school because the population is too small. There is no electricity. Two bore holes exist supplying water that were sponsored by the Shell oil company. Most of the villages in that region depend on Orie for clean drinking water. The major occupation of the people is farming.
