[edit] Moved to talk for discussion

(I moved the following here for discussion because of coi concerns. Perhaps some is worth saving if properly sourced?)

More recently, there has been increasing attention on identifying the underlying factors which can later contribute to poor organizational performance. These fundamental principles include such themes as the organization's Purpose, Core Values, World View, Leadership/Vision, Strategy and Business Model, Competencies, and Measurement systems, to name a few. In a research study co-sponsored by the Iacocca Institute and BetterManagement.com (SAS), clear correlations were demonstrated between such fundamental themes ("Beat the Odds principles"), and key organizational factors as employee retention, employee morale, industry rank, and financial performance.
