From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Orgalime (derived originally from Organisme de Liaison des Industries Métalliques Européennes) is the European Engineering Industries Association, speaking for 35 trade federations representing some 130 000 companies in the mechanical, electrical, electronic and metalworking industries of 23 European countries. The industry employs some 10.6 million people in Europe and not only represents more than one quarter of the output of manufactured products, but also a third of the manufactured exports of the European Union.
On the 21st November 2007, Orgalime elected Mr Robert Mahler as their next President. He takes over the top spot from Professor Edward G Krubasik.
