[edit] Appearance
In its first form, the Millennian was a squid-like creature with long tentacles and a head resembling that of a manta ray. However, the Regenerator G-1 caused it to further mutate into a hideous, brutish creature: Orga.
Orga is a grotesque, hunch-backed monster with thick, rubbery gray hide. Most prominent are Orga's massive three-clawed Godzilla-like hands, which it uses to walk like a gorilla. It has a short, thick tail and a short neck as well. Its Godzilla-like face has a square jaw with a prominent chin, lined with rows of serrated teeth. He appears like a horribly misdirected cross between Zilla and Gamera
Due to being Godzilla's relative, Orga is a fierce fighter who possesses a multitude of abilities. However,as seen in the movie,he doesn't like to fight unless it is the only option left. Orga's massive claws are formidable weapons in close combat which can deliver a nasty punch. He can stretch his neck to deliver a painful bite. It can fire an energy wave from the hole in its left shoulder with enough concussive force to send Godzilla flying backwards several hundred feet. Orga is much more agile than his hulking appearance suggests, able to leap vast distances and heights. Finally, Orga is able to absorb an opponent's DNA through its bite to gain their abilities, and appearance, and can even detach its upper and lower jaws to unfold a hidden membrane in order to swallow an opponent whole. Orga's greatest asset, however, is his durability. Thanks to absorbing Organizer G1 from Godzilla, he is endowed with incredibly advanced regenerative properties, able to heal from injuries even faster than Godzilla himself, not unlike Biollante.
[edit] Origin
For most of the movie, the Millenian dwells within a Spaceship, which crashed into the ocean 60 million years ago and laid dormant until it was brought to the surface by the CCI.
Upon its revival, the ship engages Godzilla in combat, defeating him, and sets about collecting info on Godzilla. In the manga, the Millenian is a collective race of human-like entities.
Later on, Godzilla fights the ship again in a rematch, and before it is destroyed, the Millenian leaves his vessel and uses Godzilla's "Regenerator G1" cells to attempt its resurrection. The creature seems to be successful at first, but soon finds itself unable to control the power of Regenerator G1. The Millenian's body continues to mutate, morphing into a hideous creature. In his final battle with Godzilla, Orga attempts to absorb more of Godzilla's DNA to become a Godzilla clone by biting him, and in desperation attempts to swallow Godzilla whole. Orga absorbs enough of Godzilla's DNA for the skin on his head to transform into green scales, his height to increase by ten meters, and his back begin to grow spines. However, he is killed when Godzilla activates his Nuclear Pulse inside the alien's body, beheading the creature and subsequently blowing the alien to pieces.
[edit] Other appearances
Orga appears in the games Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee and Godzilla: Save the Earth as an unlockable character in both, and the Final Boss in the story mode of the latter on easy and normal difficulty settings (Orga is replaced with SpaceGodzilla when the game is set on hard). The most powerful physical character, Orga uses brute strength to overwhelm opponents. His thick hide blunts most types of attacks, except for atomic and edged attacks. Rather slow and with a moderate weapon rating, Orga must come in close to beat down his foe. His specialty is grabbing opponents while he's running or jumping and throwing them like rag dolls. He is in the video game Godzilla: Unleashed where he can be bought for 50,000 store points as part of the Alien Faction. In these video games he can fire venomous spit.
[edit] Name
Orga's name comes from Godzilla's healing ability that the former was created with. In the English-dubbed version, the name for this regeneration is called Regenerator G-1, as stated above, but in the original version it was called "Organiser G-1." The first four letters of this name spell Orga (Organiser G-1). Within the context of the English dub, Michael Schlesinger (who supervised the American release for the film) speculated in the G2K audio commentary that it could also be short for "Organism".
