[edit] Useless template?
To my eyes this template is pretty useless. Hardly a composer, where it is so hard to define, whether a particular theatrical work should be considered "opera" or not. Der Mond and Die Kluge obviously are, but what about his Bavarian plays , Die Bernauerin and Astutuli? If Antigone is included, why are Oedipus der Tyrann and Prometheus missing? What about his Mystery plays, Comoedia de Christi Resurrectione and Ludus de nato Infante mirificus. They are probably no less "operas" than De Temporum Fine Comoedia. And finally, what about his scenic cantatas, Carmina Burana, Catulli Carmina and Trionfo di Afrodite? Sometimes they are counted as operas, and sometimes not. --FordPrefect42 (talk) 18:42, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hi. Are you referring to the navigation box? I edited this before I found this comment. Anyway the point of the box is to navigate, hence we don't put red links on it. When there is a new article we add it to the box. There are about 50 other opera navigation boxes similar to this one. As to what should be included - this shouldn't be a problem. You can change the title to 'Operas and Cantatas' if you think that's more appropriate. We already have a few similar cases, see for example Template:Weill operas. Best. -- Kleinzach (talk) 05:23, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
