[edit] Track Town?

Sad that this article doesn't have a section about Oregon's rich track and field and cross-country history. Even a table of the championships would be great. I know, WP:SOFIXIT; but in case someone comes here to add that the Ducks just won the 2007 cross country title, note that there's no place to put it yet. --Esprqii (talk) 01:11, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rivalries

On the page it says that the main rivalries are the OSU Beavers and the Washington Huskies (citation needed). I dispute the citation needed. If you live in Oregon, this is widely known. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.223.6.162 (talk) 17:57, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Even if something is "common knowledge", on Wikipedia it needs a citation to a reliable source. Otherwise the articles would become filled up with all sorts of speculation and inaccuracies. If it is widely known, it should be easy enough to find a reliable source that mentions the rivalry. Also, remember that Wikipedia is read by people outside of Oregon, and that not everyone in Oregon follows sports. Katr67 (talk) 19:39, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
