The U.S. state of Oregon is home to several breweries that produce a large variety of beer.

Since the beginning of Portland's microbrewing movement, Oregon has been known as the epicenter of America's micro brewing renaissance.[citation needed] In 2006, 30 microbreweries, more than one-third of the state total, were located in Portland. With 46 microbrew outlets, Portland has more breweries and brewpubs per capita than any other city in the United States.[citation needed] Many have won nationwide and international acclaim.
