[edit] Services
Ore station is the terminus for electric East Coastway services. Trains run regularly to Hastings and beyond. Direct trains to Ashford International only call here occasionally, requiring doubling back via Hastings at other times. There is an hourly service to London Victoria via Haywards Heath. There is also an hourly stopping service to Brighton via Eastbourne
There are two platforms linked by a footbridge, at this station, which is unstaffed, and has no other facilities. There is no road access, and this station is not recommended for people with physical disabilities.
The area has in the past been a hotspot for vandalism, but is now covered comprehensively by CCTV. It is scheduled for a major re-development
Trains terminating and re-starting at this station run forward into a turnaround siding which runs adjacent to the Marshlink line as far as Ore Tunnel. Ore is also the start of the single track section on the Marshlink line, which runs through to Appledore
