If Order of the Holy Cross is going to be a disambiguation redirect, so too should Order of St. Benedict and other pages that currently direct to the article on the Roman Catholic order of that name. Fishhead64 06:14, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

I would say, as an indifferent bystander, that Canons Regular of the Order of the Holy Cross is the most significant of the organisations using the name (for historical interest, at least). Peking Duck 11:59, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

While researching (and then working) on the Order of the Holy Cross (Canons Regular), I noticed that the articles are particularly confusing regarding "Canons Regular," "Order of the Holy Cross," "Augustinian Canons," and the various possible combinations of these titles.

Google organized results for "Order of the Holy Cross" in the following order:
  • Anglicans first
  • Then Melkites
  • Then Crosiers
  • Then ~Opus Angelorum

Also, Anglicans use OHC, Crosiers use OSC, and Opus Angelorum uses ORC (Melkites are ??). So, the correct way to do it is probably use "Order of the Holy Cross" for the Anglican article, "Crosiers" for the Crosiers, and "Order of Canons Regular" for Opus Angelorum (the Melkites do not have an article yet apparently). For this ambiguation page all four will be listed, but I suggest that the "Congregation of the Holy Cross" be aded which, even though it is not an order, could easily be confused as one and may actually be more well-known than the other orders (they staff Notre Dame University in the USA). "Canons Regular" needs ~Opus Angelorum and Crosiers added if they are not there already. "Order of the Holy Cross should reference this this disambiguation page like it does currently. The Crosiers should have a disambiguation at the top with a link to Opus Angelorum, and vice versa. "Order of the Holy Cross (Canons Regular)," "Order of Canons Regular of the Holy Cross," "Order of the Canons Regular of the Holy Cross," "Order of Canons Regular (Holy Cross)," and "Order of the Canons Regular (Holy Cross)" should all be linked to one disambiguation page which has the Crosiers and Opus Angelorum. Also, the Crosiers and Opus Angelorum should be on other Augustinian related pages if applicable.JBogdan 23:22, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
