[edit] with Palme?

Various officers of the Royal Air Force (and I imagine other British officers) were awarded this award "with Palme" - does anyone know what that signified? Gustav von Humpelschmumpel 10:42, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

the fact that the Order of Leopold, or the Order of the Crown or the order of Leopold II was awarded with a palm means that it was awarded to a military person for action during wartime and that the person who it is given to had been mentioned in dispatches. -- user:fdewaele, 25 May 2007, 13:30.
