"Ordinary Lives" was a single released by The Bee Gees in 1989. Following the death of their younger brother Andy Gibb, the Bee Gees dedicated their new album to him. The first single to be released from the album One was "Ordinary Lives", but surprisingly, it only reached No.54 in the UK. This was in no doubt a disappointment, especially when the group's 1987 comeback single "You Win Again" became their first UK No.1 since 1979. This low placing could be the reason why Warner Bros. Records in the U.S. decided against releasing "Ordinary Lives", instead opting for the title track.[citation needed]
