Order of Military Merit

A decoration known as the Order of Military Merit or Military Merit Order has been presented by several nations, past and present, including:
- Argentina - Orden al Mérito Militar
- Kingdom of Bulgaria - Народен орден „За военна заслуга“ (National Order "For Military Merit", often referred to in English as the Order of Military Merit)
- Canada - Order of Military Merit (Canada)
- France:
- Kingdom of France - Ordre du Mérite militaire (founded in 1759 by Louis XV for Protestant officers not eligible for the Order of St. Louis. The Order was abolished in 1791 during the French Revolution but was re-instituted by Louis XVIII in 1816 and opened to Muslim officers. It was again abolished in 1830.)
- Fourth Republic - Ordre du Mérite militaire (established in 1957, replaced along with most other distinct French civil orders in 1963 by the National Order of Merit.)
- German States:
- Hungary - Order of Merit (Military) or Magyar Köztársasági Érdemrend középkeresztje
- India - Indian Order of Merit (military)
- South Korea - Order of Military Merit (Korea)
- Communist Romania - Ordinul "Meritul Militar"
