The Order of Merit of the Police Forces is a Canadian order, established in October 2000. It is awarded for conspicuous merit and exceptional service to members of the various police forces in Canada by the Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, who is the Chancellor and Commander of the Order of Canada.

The Order has three classes: Commander (COM), Officer (OOM) and Member (MOM). The Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is ex officio the Principal Commander of the Order.

The badge of the Order is a black enamelled cross pattée, in gilt for Commanders and Officers, in silver for Members. The central disc bears a maple leaf - red enamelled leaf on golden background for Commanders, golden leaf on golden background for Officers, silver leaf on silver background for Members - surrounded by a red enamel ring bearing the words "Merit - Mérite - Canada", and topped by a crown. Commanders wear the badge on a necklet; Officers and Members wear their badges, suspended by a gilt or silver bar decorated with a laurel motif, on a ribbon on the left chest.

The ribbon of the Order is blue-gold-blue.
