Orchester Musikkollegium Winterthur

The Orchester Musikkollegium Winterthur is a noted Swiss symphony orchestra, founded in 1875 and initially known as the Stadtorchester Winterthur. Its principal conductor is Jac van Steen, whose predecessor was Heinrich Schiff. It also plays at the Zurich Opera and performs around 60 concerts a year. The orchestra has an impressive discography and an international reputation.
