The Orchard Farm School District is a district in Orchard Farm, Missouri that was formed on February 14, 1959 when schools around Orchard Farm and Portage Des Sioux decided to come together and form one district. There are three schools on the campus: Orchard Farm Elementary, Orchard Farm Jr. High, and Orchard Farm High School. As of 2007, the elementary school has 581 students in grades K-5 and pre-K, the Jr. high school has 314 students in grades 6-8, and the high school has 399 students in grades 9-12. The school district serves students in St. Charles, West Alton, and Portage Des Sioux. Their mascot is an eagle and the school colors are green and white.
The administrators for the Orchard Farm School District are as follows: Elementary School Principal, Mr. Jerry Oetting; Middle School Principal, Mrs. Marcia Cummins; and High School Principal, Mr. Brian Smith.
The district recently passed a no tax increase proposition that will enable the district to build a new elementary school in the southern portion of the district (New Town) in St. Charles, Missouri. It is called Proposition E. The district will make improvements to the schools on the main campus as well. Improvements should end in August of 2008
