I removed the content tag after adding a brief introduction to orbital momentum vectors. This should add a reasonible amount of context to the subject.

If you have trouble relating to this, please bear in mind that orbital mechanics is an advanced college level course. The orbital momentum vector is but one tiny term found in some orbital mechanics equations. There is no grand meaning of life to be found in an orbital momentum vector! It is just a term that someone somewhere gave a name to.

That being said, if you have not studied orbital mechanics then this might not be much use to yourself. I wrote this page to help out those who are studying orbital mechanics and are having problems calculating their orbital momentum vectors. There is no possible way that this page could be responsible for educating yourself in the entire field of orbital mechanics.
