I've done what I can to translate this page from the Japanese Wikipedia, but I don't know much about music, and some of my phrasing (e.g. "middle bass voice" for 中低音) might be off. I'm also no good at defining the genre of a band... I really like their sound, and it's definitely not pop or rock, but it's not pure jazz either - more likely to be found in the main pop/rock section of a music store than in the small jazz section in the back near the classical, reggae, and ethnic stuff.
