Orangeville District Secondary School is located at 22 Faulkner Street in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada, and is the oldest secondary school in the town. It was built in its current state after the old high school (originally built in 1884) burned down in 1948 [1]. Currently, grades 9 through 12 are housed at O.D.S.S. There were Ontario Academic Credit (OAC) classes there until they were abolished in the early 2000s (the last class of OAC's graduated in 2003). Approximately 1650 students attend the school. It received national coverage in October of 2006, when the "Fight Club" scandal arose (videos of fights at the school were shown on YouTube). However, it is acknowledged by most residents and students of the town that the issue was blown entirely out of proportion and gave the school an undeserved bad reputation. Famous graduates include Degrassi: The Next Generation actor Ryan Cooley, World Wrestling Entertainment star Adam Copeland and current mayor Rob Adams.
