The Orangespotted trevally is up to 53cm in length, with a silvery or grey body with orange spots. There is a variant which is entirely yellow.[1]
[edit] Habitat
A strong-swimming fish found at depths of 2 to 50 metres usually on seaward reefs, either solitary or in small groups. It may mingle with Parupeneus cyclostomus.[2]

Red Sea to the Gulf of Oman, the Gulf of Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Okinawa.[3]
