Orange Curtain

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Orange Curtain is a term used to describe the border between Orange County and Los Angeles County in California.

It is a sometimes derogatory, sometimes light-hearted term, depending on context. Residents of Orange County tend to be more conservative and suburban than their more-liberal big-city neighbors.[1]

The Orange Curtain is a word play on the infamous Iron Curtain which separated communist and capitalist Europe.

"Orange County Girl" by Gwen Stefani uses this term: I guess behind the orange curtain it's not so bad
