Orange County Drum and Percussion (OCDP) is a custom drum manufacturer located in Orange County, California. The company sells direct to consumers and also through a worldwide network of retailers.

OCDP pioneered the vented snare, a feature of snare drums which radically changes sound and volume due to the addition of vent holes of varying sizes, shapes and locations.

The company is also well known for the different finishes and paint jobs offered on the pre-made and specially ordered kits. As well as custom paint jobs OCDP also offers various finishes to their kits including fur and other materials. Likewise, the company often experiments with different build materials including metals and plastics.

Finally, OCDP offer various finishing touches to their kits, again varying depending on a customer's specific needs. Such finishing touches may include various mounting mechanisms, powder coatings, personalized badges or other hardware. Virtually every part and aspect of the drums made by OCDP can be customized to meet any demand you may have. Anything from the basics, like drum size and color, to more specific details such as offset lugs, different colored rims and lugs, different number of plys and wood type, etc. You come up with an idea and they will build it for you. A combination of customization, superb quality and originality is what has made OCDP successful so far, inspiring many other companies to emerge attempting to offer the same type of custom drum sets.
