The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles Basketball team is the basketball team that represent Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The school's team currently competes in The Summit League. The team earned an automatic berth in the 2008 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. It was their third consecutive NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament appearance. The Golden Eagles are currently coached by Scott Sutton. Each year, ORU plays crosstown rival Tulsa for the Mayor's Cup.

[edit] 2007 NCAA Tournament

The 2007 team received a fourteen seed in the West region and faced the Washington State Cougars in Sacramento, California on March 15, 2007. Washington State won the game, 70-54.

The 2008 Golden Eagles under coach Scott Sutton won the Summit League Championship and received a 13th seed in the South Region. They fell to Pittsburgh 82-63 in Denver, CO.
