Oragark (= agenda) is an Armenian language periodical based in Glendale, California. Over the last few decades, the Armenian-American community within the city of Glendale has significantly increased. Today(2006), over 70,000 Armenian-Americans reside in Glendale making it home to the largest Armenian-American community in the United States. Although various organizations and media outlets have been established in recent years to help address the needs of the community, few media sources have been focused directly on Glendale and the issues the community faces. "Oragarkā€ periodical was created in order help fill this void within the community. "Oragark" is a monthly newspaper focusing on news, events and issues affecting the Armenian-American community in the city of Glendale. The paper seeks to dissect and understand the city's current events in an effort to create a better informed public.
